Our Vision
Our vision is to see Blacktown become a city for Jesus, where lives are transformed by the power of God’s love and grace. We believe every life is valuable, and we are here to bring the hope of Christ to our community through discipleship, outreach, and service.
As we passionately focus on Blacktown, we aim to teach people to follow Jesus and help others do the same. Through our weekly church services, ministries, and acts of love, we are building a foundation for revival in our city.
While Blacktown is our central focus, we hold a broader vision for Sydney, Australia, and the nations. We are excited to continue reaching those who need the hope and love of Christ, making an eternal impact for God’s Kingdom.
Our Mission
At Harvest Now Church, our mission is clear: to win souls and train those souls to be soul winners. With a passionate heart for Jesus, we are committed to making His name known, not only in our local community of Blacktown but across Sydney, throughout Australia, and to the nations.
We walk in love, embracing the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, as we strive to reflect Christ in all we do. We provide a space where people can experience life-changing moments through worship, teaching, and fellowship. Our ministries focus on inspiring, empowering, and equipping individuals to grow in faith and spread God’s word.
What We Believe
1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is our ultimate guide for faith and practice, revealing God's will for our lives.
2. The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet there is only one God.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day. He is the only way to salvation, and through Him, we have eternal life.
4. Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift from God, available to all who repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation is by grace through faith, not by works.
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present in the world to convict, comfort, guide, and empower believers to live out God’s purposes. We believe in the ongoing work of the Spirit in the lives of Christians, enabling them to grow in holiness and serve others.
6. The Church
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The local church is where believers gather for worship, teaching, and fellowship, and it plays a key role in reaching the world with the gospel.
7. The Great Commission
We believe it is our calling as Christians to go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are committed to spreading the love and message of Jesus Christ to the nations.
8. The Second Coming
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. He will return to earth to judge the living and the dead, and to establish His eternal Kingdom.
9. The Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of the dead. All will be resurrected, some to eternal life and others to eternal separation from God.
10. The Power of Love and the Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in walking in love and in the manifestation of the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe these gifts empower believers to live victoriously and serve others with compassion and strength.
Our Pastors
Pastors Criselda and Larry Tiangco are the passionate leaders and founders of Harvest Now Church, which they began in 2009 with a vision to see lives transformed by the love of God.
With a deep commitment to winning souls and equipping others to be soul winners, their leadership has been marked by faith, humility, and a heart for service. Together, they’ve nurtured a vibrant church community that not only impacts Blacktown and Sydney but reaches across Australia and beyond.
Their ministry extends beyond Sunday services, as they actively guide outreach programs, disciple future leaders, and foster a church culture grounded in love, worship, and spiritual growth.
